The Chef Bombay brand is constantly evolving, from their packages to digital presence; the brand has always gravitated towards its vintage roots. We worked with the Chef Bombay team to develop a website that reflected this branding transformation.
Great food, great user experiences
We sought to understand Chef Bombay’s customers, who are often in grocery stores looking on their phones for more product information. What’s in it? What are the flavours like? These were some of the most common questions we opted to answer quickly for customers visiting the new site.
Unique custom development
A brand as unique as Chef Bombay challenged our team to develop unique ways of presenting their products, which we primarily did through custom parallax effects. From the home page to the product pages, we worked to ensure their products always had a unique presentation on the site.
A store finder to make life easier
Modern websites should solve modern problems, of which a recurring one for many businesses is the common, “where do I buy this?” We set up a store finder search through our CMS that linked to the CRM tools in the backend, allowing the Chef Bombay team to routinely update the list of stores their products are sold in.
Cooperative brand development & revitalization
Our team collaborated with the Chef Bombay marketing team throughout the project to ensure every aspect of the site was consistent with their brand revitalization. In doing so, we also established new web & digital standards for the Chef Bombay team to user when effectively communicating their new branding.
A small site with a big presentation
The new Chef Bombay site is effective due to the thought and consideration put into each unique customer & user journey we mapped. Their site is also easily updatable and maintainable, allowing the Chef Bombay team to focus more of their time on continuing to grow their brand - not figuring out their website.
