Store Setting up your store for business |
Setting Up Your Location
Fill out the section called Store Location with your contact information and Address. Configuring this area allows your site to calculate shipping cost when orders are made. * Do not use your home address unless that is where your business is located.
Currency Format
Enter the currency format you are using. The currency will appear in your store on product values.
American Business will use - USD
Canadian Business will use - CAD
*Please note that this is not a required field however if you are using a payment processor like Authorize.net they may require you to have set your currency. Order Notification & Invoice Generation
Invoices sent from - Enter an email address where Invoices will be sent from. In most cases the address is "billing@yourcompany.com".
New orders sent to - Enter an email address that will receive notifications when an order is made. We recommend using a separate address ( Inbox ) as it will be easier to manage new orders and search for old ones.
Generate invoices X days before they are due - Choose how many days prior to the an invoice due date you want Shout to generate invoices. Please note that the system will not automatically send out invoices.
Invoicing Headers and Footer
You can customize your invoice header and footer. The Header appears at the top of your invoice and typically contains your logo. Your Footer appears at the bottom and usually contains payment instructions, your contact information and payment terms if they exist.

Regions & Taxes

ShoutCMS Allows you to configure the individual tax rates for each location you ship to. In most cases you only have to enter the tax rates in which you operate from. |
Shipping Methods
|
If you are shipping products you will want to configure your default shipping settings. Please note - you can enter shipping instructions on each product that will override these settings.
ShoutCMS is pre-configured to work with several carriers such as FedEx, UPS and Canada Post. You can also set Flat Shipping rates for each product.
You will need to set up a Vendor account for each carrier in order for Shout to connect to each vendor.
Canada Post - You will need to create a VenderOne Account on the www.canadapost.ca website.

Payment Methods

You have multiple options for accepting Credit Card payments through ShoutCMS. ShoutCMS comes pre-configured with several popular Payment Gateways. Before you start configuring this section you must first create an account with the payment gateway that you prefer.
Step One: Create an account with the Gateway of your choice.
Step Two: Enable the gateway you wish to use, and enter the access code they have provided to you.
Step Three: Enable the cards you accept and choose which payment Gateway will process them.

Suppliers

Shout Allows you to to configure multiple Supplier agents or sometimes know as the Warehouses or Distributors. Each product can be configured with a specific Supplier and in the cases you are drop shipping products ShoutCMS will calculate the Shipping cost from the Suppliers address to the desination |
SSL Certificate Setup

If you have purchased the Shout Professional package you will already have an SSL Certificate. SSL creates a secure connection between a client and a server over which any amount of data can be sent securely, S-HTTP is designed to transmit individual messages securely.
Most people recognize that your site is secure when they see a Lock in the address bar of their browser or an https:// in front of the URL.
